These terms cover your use of the Soltilo Bright Stars FC website and the memberships we offer through it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

The site is run by Soltilo Bright Stars FC (“the Club”, “we”, “us”), a football club based in Kampala, Uganda. We are referred to as “Bright Stars” or “the Club” throughout.

Using the site

You may browse the site, share links to it, and use the contact form for genuine enquiries. You may not:

• copy, scrape or republish the site’s content, photographs or crest without our written permission;
• use the contact form to send spam, advertising or abusive messages;
• attempt to gain access to any part of the site you are not meant to reach, or interfere with how it runs;
• use the site in any way that breaks the law.

We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules.

Memberships

We offer memberships in the tiers described on the Membership page. The benefits, prices and length of each tier are set out there and form part of these terms when you join.

• Joining. A membership starts when we confirm it and any fee has been received. Membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred.
• Fees. Fees are shown in Ugandan shillings unless stated otherwise. Once a membership has started, fees are not refundable except where the law requires it or where we have failed to provide what was promised.
• Benefits. Match access and other benefits depend on fixtures being played and on the rules of the competition and the stadium. If a match is postponed or moved we will do our best to honour the benefit at a rescheduled date, but we cannot guarantee it.
• Conduct. Members are expected to follow stadium rules and to treat players, staff, officials and other supporters with respect. We may end a membership without refund for serious misconduct.
• Junior memberships. A parent or guardian must apply on behalf of anyone under 18 and is responsible for the junior member.

Academy enquiries

Information about the Junior Stars academy on this site is for general guidance. Places, age groups and trial dates are confirmed separately. An enquiry through the site does not guarantee a place.

Our content

The Club’s name, crest, kit designs, photographs, videos and text on this site belong to the Club or to those who have licensed them to us. You may view and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, including on merchandise or in advertising, needs our written permission.

Links and embedded content

The site links to, and embeds content from, other services such as Sofascore, YouTube and our social media accounts. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their own terms apply when you use them.

Accuracy

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but fixtures, squad lists, prices and other details can change. Where something on the site conflicts with an official competition or Club announcement, the official announcement takes precedence. We may change or remove any part of the site at any time.

Our liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the Club is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its content, or from it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes to membership terms will not reduce the benefits of a membership already paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Uganda.
